PROJECTS | NEW CONSTRUCTION
-
In this living/dining room, the seating area is home to comfortable chairs and a sofa, contrasting dark, country English furniture, and a blue and white scheme exemplified by the overcast silk checked draperies and custom blue and white rug from Spain.
-
An open plan showcases a comfortable family room anchored by a custom cast limestone fireplace mantel. A hand loomed Thai rug pulls all the colors together.
-
A custom designed wall unit in anigre wood creates a contemporary focus for the family room with the additional practical benefits of housing the 50” television, magazines, wine, audio and video equipment and decorative art.
-
Nine fabrics in neutral and soft blue/green tones combine to create a cozy window seat in a breakfast room. The walls are done in grasscloth to coordinate the look.
-
We kept the kitchen cabinetry light to work with the rest of the plan, adding dark granite and marble accents and black lacquer stools and a custom mosaic floor to create the contrast.
-
A practical kitchen design is offset by a creative layering of marble and ceramic tiles on the backsplash.
-
In the dining area, we placed the English country table and chairs on an angle to create interest and maximize seating. We purchased an antique French enfilade (buffet) to attractively house everything needed for a beautiful dinner, and added another blue and ivory rug from Spain to coordinate with the two blue and white fabrics on the dining chairs.
-
In this large master bath, we used Botticino marble combined with creamy ivory cabinetry, brushed nickel and crystal hardware, and a beautiful contemporary floral wallcovering with a smooth, pearlized finish.
